I had a professor call it "the affliction". Basically it's the inner calling to create something new, coupled with an almost obsessive attention to detail.This can lead to a tedious process of "not-good-enoughs" and trial and error - however, the high standards yield great results. I take pride in the projects I work on and I'm always trying to expand as a musician, writer, and self-producer. My home studio allows me to explore all of the crazy artistic ideas I have flying around in my head. I've been lucky enough to use this space to write and produce original music, create remote drum tracks, custom backing tracks/samples/loops, commercial music, demos, live video recording sessions, graphic designs, rehearsal tracks, social media content, and this very website!  Here are some things that were done right here in house:
